In this assignment, you will create a flyer about a topic of your choice. This will allow you to practice some of the advanced Word skills you learned. There are many templates in Microsoft Word that can help you create these documents, but this assignment should be completed without using the template feature.

Before you begin, choose a topic for your flyer. Be creative and choose a topic that you think would work well as a flyer.

• Car for sale
• Garage sale
• Apartment for rent
• Lost cat or dog
• Puppies for sale
• Informative flyer about lessons or service (piano lessons, for example)
• Community or school event (PTA meeting, City Festival, etc.)

Create Your Flyer

1. Open Word and create a new, blank document.
2. Include the following items on your flyer:
   1. Two graphics (a drawing object and a picture from either clipart or the Internet)
   2. A bulleted or numbered list
   3. A font size greater than 12 points somewhere on the flyer
   4. 2 different fonts
   5. A table or textbox
   6. Your contact information
3. Use show/hide codes to check your formatting.
4. Resize or edit your picture, if needed.
5. Save your flyer as YourName_assignment3 and submit it to your instructor  by attaching it in to your mail compose message.
